Portfolio of Work

The following is a collection of the projects I am most proud of for a number of reasons; from the process of creating the final piece to the end result and the key takeaways.

Canva User Manual

I created this Canva manual as a final project during my time in Algonquin College's Technical Writing program. I chose to write a Canva user manual because I wholeheartedly believe Canva is the future for publishing a variety of digital content types.

The manual was built entirely in Adobe FrameMaker.

User Personas: Streamline Media Asset Management

While completing my co-op term at Ross Video, I was tasked with creating a new design for the Streamline team's user personas to make the information easily accessible to the product development team.

The colour palette is based on the Streamline branding. Icons were used for scanability.

Adobe Illustrator and Vecteezy were used to create this document.

Instructional Video: Create a Basic Video in Adobe Premiere Pro

This video was a final project for Instructional Design. Since I have a strong background in video editing, I decided to teach my fellow classmates how to use Adobe Premiere Pro to create basic videos.

A key lesson I learned was to prepare a script rather than winging it because it's so much easier to have a full plan laid out to give the piece more structure.

Apple QuickTime and Adobe Premiere Pro were used to build and record the tutorial.
